Mary was admitted to the Ontario Bar in February 2024.

 

Before migrating to Canada, she was a licensed Philippine real estate broker for 14 years and the Vice President for Finance of their family-owned garden resort in Palawan, Philippines.

 

With a passion for family and youth advocacy, Mary participated in conferences and seminars on family and youth-related issues across the Philippines and Asia. She organized skills-based training and workshops for students, working with the provincial government, local city officials, and even the US Embassy—Manila Public Affairs Office. She organized legal aid programs with law students, provided legal assistance to jail detainees, low-income families, and indigenous groups.

 

Mary graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication in 2004. She pursued law in 2012, earning her Juris Doctor in 2016 from the Palawan State University—School of Law. After her admission to the Philippine Bar in 2017, she practiced in civil and criminal litigation.

 

Mary is fluent in English and Filipino.
